What are you doing for Thanksgiving? Do you have any traditions? Go in to detail about your plans for the 5 day weekend.

During Thanksgiving, my extended family comes over to visit. My cousin is cool because we share a common interest in video games, and we play them a lot. They also bring their dogs over, and it's.... interesting to see how they get along with my dog. I'm also going to see Slipknot at the Sprint Center on Wednesday.

Go out and look up a what all goes on a resume website. What can you find? Include an example image if possible.

If you were to create a resume, you should put your name, obviously, and your accomplishments. You want people to think highly of you, so you should take it seriously. You could put your talents, where you graduated from, or volunteer experiences. You should also post a summary, contact information, and social media information. You're trying to impress people so that they will hire you, or whatever. Just post what you think other people would find impressive.

Consider the quote below. What exactly do you think it means and how does it relate to Web Design?

Aw, man. I REALLY wanted to talk about my weekend, because it was my birthday. Anyways, this quote means that designing something is about how you get to the product, and not the actual product. It relates to web design, in the struggle you have to go through to create a website. If you look at the code of a website, all of the characters are contributing to what you see on your screen. All of those characters are part of the site's design. If a site doesn't have good design, then very little of the site will be worth your time. Design is not just the visual and auditory appeal. Design is the core element to anything that you create. Also, Interstellar is awesome.

Reflect on your learning this semester so far in this class. Think about the first day you walked in to this room until right now. What have you learned about Web Design? What have you learned beyond Web Design? Explain yourself.

I have learned how to code in html. I've learned that coding is a struggle that you can't get through on your own. Html is a complicated language that requires a lot thinking to use effectively. However, it can also do some pretty cool things, so it is worth learning.

My weekend was pretty standard, once again. I just hung out at my house and played Hyrule Warriors, which is such an awesome game. Since I did nothing else, I'll just tell you about the game. It is a hack-and-slash where you kill literally thousands of enemies with your favorite Zelda characters. It's like a fan's dream come true and I love it.

I went camping in Oklahoma over the weekend. I went with my dad, my brother, my dog, my uncle, my aunt, and my cousin. They also brought their two dogs, making a total of three. The trip was pretty fun, but my dog had an...incident. My dog had never been camping before, so he was a little confused. He was sleeping in the middle of the day, when someone walked close to our campsite. He was startled, and he proceeded to bark uncontrollably and run after them. Unfortunately, he didn't notice the campfire in front of him, which he ran right through. After that, he wouldn't go near the fire for the rest of the trip.

What kind of background do you have with Photoshop? Have you used it before? What other types of design and editing software have you used before? Explain.

I'm kind of familiar with Photoshop. I used it in 7th and 8th grade in emerging tech. I was OK with it, but I wasn't super amazing with it. I remember a few things about it, but I need a refresher. I think that Photoshop is very cool. You can do pretty much anything to an image, if you know how to use it. I'm looking forward to learning more things about it.

Below is a letter written to the editor who wrote the article 'Enforcement of dress code creates negative effect' that your blogged about last week. Most of you wrote on your blog that you agreed with the writer. What are your thoughts after reading the letter below and seeing a different perspective. Are they the same? Are the different? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.

I still disagree with the school's dress code. If you go out and earn a very expensive pair of short shorts, then you have the right to wear them. You should be allowed to wear them at school because that's were most of your life goes as a teen. If you can't wear them at school, where else are going to wear them. Us guys can control ourselves. Teachers shouldn't assume that guys are immature, because that makes them immature. I think that there should be more freedom in what we can wear. Granted, the school dress code isn't perfect, but it could be a lot worse.

The perfect curriculum for me would be a schedule full of music classes. I aim to be in a band when I grow up. I would like my classes to be about guitar skills, music theory, and anything else that might apply to being in a band. ELA would be important if I were to write lyrics, as well. I would also put computer-related classes in my schedule as a back-up plan.

The following article was in the September issue of The Tiger Print. Read the article (even if you already have) and respond to it below. What do you think? Do you agree? Disagree? Consider all perspectives of the article while you respond.

I mostly agree with this article. Girls should be allowed to wear what they want, as long as its within reason. Revealing clothing is only a distraction if we let it be. If a guy is so easily distracted, then that's his problem. In some cases, wearing that type of clothing could enhance a girl's learning experience, if it makes them more comfortable. I think that teachers shouldn't consider everything a "distraction". Like I said before, it's only a distraction if you let it be.

Tell me about your weekend! If you don't have anything fun to share, tell me about the city you live in. What do you love about Kansas City? Do you have a favorite place in the city? Favorite team? :) Favorite event? Explain.

Over the weekend, I went to a NASCAR race with my friend, Atish. I had never been to one before, so it was a great experience. The race was pretty good until the end; we spent over two hours looking for the car. In the end, we had to get help from security, and we rode in the back of a golf cart that was going at least 60 mph with no seat belts. That part was fun. Always remember where you parked, kiddies.

I went to the homecoming dance. It was pretty fun, but I wasn't particularly fond of the music. When the best song you play is Thriller, Then that's a problem. The rest of my weekend was spent working on my biology project. It was so stressful, and took forever to complete. It also took a lot of Dream Theater to recover from the horrendous homecoming music.

Last the weekend, my friend, Alan came over to my house. While he was there, we played Super Smash Bros. Brawl. He is really good at that game, so I didn't do very well. After that, we played ping-pong. I epicly owned him at that, so it all wears even (I don't care if "epicly" is a word or not). After he left, my family ate dinner from Oklahoma Joe's, which is one of my favorite restaurants. Last weekend was pretty exciting when compared to my usual low-key weekend, so it was a nice change of pace.
